A cookie is a piece of state information in the HTTP protocol, used for managing dynamic content. But the C language is hardly ever used to write dynamic content, except at the low database level. I guess Cookie Monster's song C Is For Cookie needs to be revised to Internet standards:

Perl is for cookie, that's good enough for me
Java is for cookie, that's good enough for me
Python is for cookie, that's good enough for me
Oh, cookie, cookie starts with PHP
If Everything 2 is brought to you by the letter C, why is it written in Perl?
