Pilsener style beer. In
Quebec, it is called Labatt Bleue. Sometime after 1988, they dropped the apostrophe and the product is marketed as "Labatt Blue" in English Canada.
Trivia: The name "blue" started as a nickname derived from label color and support of the
Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
