Special kind of beer brewed with this recipe first time in Pilsen, Czech republik. Tastes more bitter than most other beers. Most famous beer in Germany.

A common type of lager, originally coming from the Czech town of Pilsen, but more commonly known to the rest of us by the German and Dutch beers. The german word pils is often used instead. Pilsener Urquell, claiming to be "Das Erste Pils Der Welt", is most probably not - and is terrible in any event.
