When the Spike exploded, trapping Wakboth the Devil under it, Cacodemon and his servants, the fiends, were among the Chaos demons that remained embodied. They became patrons of the Ogre race, and taught them to hide among humans and eat their enemies in secret. Eventually Troll Heroes drove Cacodemon into the Hero Plane, but its cult still thrives among ogres.
