Here's a slight variation of this recipe that my dad taught me. It's currently the only thing I know how to make other than ramen and toast. *

Ingredients

Directions

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees (F). Mush up the ground beef and spread it out, covering the bottom of a casserole dish. Pour the cream of mushroom soup on top of this, then the peas, and finally cover the top with tater tots. Pack 'em in there real nice and tight. See if you can use the whole bag. Once you've got as many tater tots as will fit, grate a ton of cheese on top. And I mean a ton, because cheese is delicious.

When your oven is preheated, pop this sucker in there and cook however long the instructions on your bag of tater tots say (or until all the cheese is melted and the tater tots are a nice crisp golden brown). Usually 30 minutes is plenty.

Now you've got yourself a delicious, healthy casserole fit for a king. Partake and enjoy.

* It just occurred to me that I also know how to make several varieties of macaroni and cheese, so there.
