The so-called
Natural Governing Party because they have been in office for most of the twentieth century.
They have managed to be the perfect political machine, a feat only American political parties have regularly achieved. They have done this by campaigning like the NDP and governing like Tories.
This political sleight-of-hand, of talking to the people, sort of, during elections, and to money between elections, has earned them the disgust of most Canadians around the political spectrum---except for those who owe their jobs to them. Not a few people owe them.
