You should google it, if you want to. The first line is unforgettable. "I was selling acid on Jim Morrison's grave when I met Vladimir Putin."

The author claims that at one point, Putin was in love with Grace Slick's music, her stage persona. That he had been planning to drop out of the KGB, disappear, go to America, change his name, and pursue a career in music. There was someone he was supposed to kill, he said. He'd never done that.

They dropped some of that acid and went to see The Wall in theaters, and he was gone the next day.

I really actually like Grace Slick and the Great Society, but every time I think about Putin, every time I listen to "Outlaw Blues," some part of me thinks about that.
