There's a name for the feeling you get when you drive
Up a winding mountain path.
There's a feeling of smallness, a feeling of quiet,
A feeling of stomach unset.

You drive through a cloud, or something like that
A fog, a mist, a haze -
You check your windows, rolled up tight,
No condensation stays.

In the night, the mountains are felt, not seen,
And feel the mountains you do.
Though the cold air outside stays outside,
There's a chill that makes its way through.
