puppet show on
Nickelodeon in the 90's made by
Marc Weiner.
Originally, he was a street performer, then moved up to some Vaudeville shows, then got picked up as a live audience show in the morning on Nickelodeon.
Starring Marc Weiner as himself. The rest of the cast was almost completely him, with him playing most of the puppets.
Not ordinary puppets, more like his whole head and a mini-body under it. He acted by walking over to a really big TV with himself on it and interacting with the character.

Dottie, the boss
the band
an astronaut
Socko, played by his hand.
