thespian character from "
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead", played in the
movie version by
Richard Dreyfuss. He crosses Rosencrantz and Guildenstern's path one day, invites them to watch his
troupe perform a
play, or perhaps
take part in it.
Ironically, they already are.
