A very early model Ford car. More then 15 million were produced before the model was discontinued. They were first designed in 1908, and first produced in 1909. Model T's were famous for being the first mass produced automobile, and the assembly line was developed specifically for their production. The earlest ones produced cost between $825 and $1000, and weighed about 1000 pounds. The last model year, 1927, cost between $300 and $550 (showing the value of the assembly line production that was instituted in 1913), and weighed between 1500 and 2000 pounds.
