In Nordic Mythology (according to the Elder Edda), the throne of Odin on Iðavöllr (the mustering-field of Valhalla). When seated in Hliðskjálf, Odin can look out across the whole world.
Among Odin's titulary was the title "King of Hliðskjálf".
