Mastering the language
of silence
was something she had done
from very young.

It was a versatile lexicon.

With the poetry of silence,
she would craft perfect lyrics
and set them to a grimoire.
Of long pauses.
Things left unsaid.

Shatter stone.
Rise Elijah,
discarding face
for fire--

Screams in the wilderness
swallowed by sky.

Keep to the streams,
