Audi has been adopted as an urban
colloquialism for "
departing" or "
goodbye," since its pronounciation is similar to
outie. It has several variants, and a popular one is based on one of the car manufacturer's models, the
Audi 5000 Quattro, as in "I'm Audi 5000, g."
It should be noted this term is officially played out as it has been widely adopted into the mainstream. Serious use of it is considered either a sign of either being a poseur or horribly behind the times.
