Duck Hunt usually came on a "
multi-cartridge" (authorized by
Nintendo), along with
Super Mario Brothers in one
SKU. In another version, it came with
SMB and a running game, when the
NES Power Pad was included.
My least favorite part of the game was the
dog. I can't tell you the number of times i spent trying to find a way to use that third bullet on him, after he mocked me for missing the ducks.
The third game (single ducks and double ducks were the first two),
Clay Pigeon Shooting, is the hands-down hardest
shooting game for the
NES, but as well the most rewarding. Picking off that little
blip just above the horizon feels good (not to mention worth the most
points).
