A song used in a late
70s/early
80s worldwide advertising campaign by the
Coca-Cola Company. The
television adverts featured lots of
happy smiling children of all races dancing around.
Factoid: in
apartheid South Africa the advertisement had to be remade to feature only white kids.
I'd like to buy the world a home,
furnish it with love
grow apple trees, honey bees
and snow white turtle doves
I'd like to teach the world to sing,
in perfect harmony
I'd like to buy the world a Coke,
and keep it company
