Urban Legend that mixing pop rocks and
cola causes a tremendous
explosion. Supposedly this killed
Mikey the
Life Cereal boy.
Parodied in an episode of the
Simpsons where
Marge and
Homer escape a
candy maker's
convention by causing such an explosiong.
