The Centurion is a British tank developed during at the end of WWII. Experiences from the war were utilized during the development and the tank became very reliable and flexible in its uses. Deployed in battle in India, Korea, Vietnam and the Middle East, thousands of Centurions have been manufactured in many different versions.

The first Centurion model was armed with a 76 mm main gun. This was first replaced with an 84 mm gun, and then in 1959 with a 105 mm gun. The Centurion weighs 50-54 metric tonnes. It has been sold to several countries, including Denmark, India, Israel, Switzerland and Sweden.
