What is
ironic is that the act of keeping Mission Critical Data
safe usually
impairs one's ability to use said data. Information that is absolutely
imperative for the completion of a job is usually of a
highly sensitive nature, and there is a desire to keep it
secret, lest it be taken away or used against the person/
institution who's job requires it.
Thus it becomes necessary to
hide and lock up all that Mission Critical Data. This usually requires the assistance of a
security specialist, and almost always results in a situation where the Data becomes more time-consuming and
costly to access and utilize. The more valuable the information, the more we naturally
cripple our own ability to use it.
