1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. Peel, wash potatoes, boil for 1/2 hour.
  3. Brown ground beef in 1oz butter for 5 min.
  4. Peel, mince onion, sautee with ground beef 5 min more.
  5. In a mixing bowl, mix ground beef, cooked onion, parsley and egg. Add salt and pepper. Set aside.

Mash potatoes, adding some jus from the cooked onions/beef. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg. Mix in butter gradually, melting each spoonful into the mash.

Grease lasagna dish with remaining butter, spread half of mashed potatoes on the bottom. Add ground beef mix, sprinkle with half the grated cheese. Cover with remaining potatoes, sprinkle remaining cheese.

Bake for 30 minutes.
