In a game of 'tag', if the person who is 'it' sucessfully 'tag's someone else, they become 'the butcher'. If it has been stated that "you can't tag the butcher", then the person just tagged cannot emediately tag the person who just tagged them. Often a preset time must pass before the butcher can be tagged by the person they originally tagged, or throughout the whole time they are 'it', they may not tag the person who made them it (the butcher).
