Sarah Schenirer was a
Polish seamstress who founded the first
Beis Yaakov in the early 20th century. Most Beis Yaakovs (as well as spin-offs such as
T.A.G.- Torah Acadamy for Girls, and others) commemerate her today by teaching little girls to sing the following song:

Lived the mother of Beis Yaakov
