The Archimedes 3000 (aka Archie) was groundbreaking at the time (1987) the GUI was much simpler to use than Windows and actually had a (wait for it) Iconbar! The computer shiped with the Risc OS operating system on ROM to ensure stability, a 3.5 inch floppy disc drive (by default formatted to 800k) and a 3 button mouse. It's logo was an owl and given that Disney's Merlin had an educated owl named Archimedes I would suspect that there was a link. It was succeded by the imaginatively named A4000 and A5000.
