Weston Woods Studios is a film and audio production company, solely created for the purpose of making media based on well-known books for children. The company was founded in 1953 by Morton Schindel in Weston, Connecticut and named it after the wooded area near his house and was later acquired by Scholastic Entertainment in 1996. The company's animated films appeared on Captain Kangaroo and later Eureeka's Castle on Nickelodeon in the early 1990s and were released on VHS under the title "Children's Circle Videos" in the 1980s.
Come on along, come on along,
Join the Caravan.
Hear the stories and the songs
from a hundred different lands
We've got puppets, films, and rhymes
Tales from once upon a time
There's always a show
Rain or shine
Just look for the smiling caravan sign
Come on along, come on along,
Join the Caravan.
Step right up, come right in.
The show is about to begin.
