The three basic models of the Type III are the 1500/1600
Sedan (
Notchback), the 1500/1600
Variant (
Squareback) and the 1600TL (
Fastback). They are all very similar. They share many of the
Type I's design fundamentals, but in a more run-of-the-mill, for the
1960's anyway, appearing package.
They were far less popular than the Type I or Type II.
