Arguably the best
FTP client available for the
Microsoft Windows platform,
leapFTP is developed by
LeapWare inc. It has all the regular
features found in every GUI ftp client, like
recursive transfers, a
site manager,
Upload/
download resume and
directory list
caching.
More
unusual features are two forms of anti-idle(NOOP and PWD),
Remote file
edit and
CHMOD, a scripting language and DDE and custom
command definitions.
The
feature specification also claims that server browse during
transfer is
implemented. I cannot get this to
work.
So what makes
LeapFTP shine? is it any one of the features
mentioned previously? no, it is simply the high-powered
queueing system and
intelligent design of the
program. Use it. It's
good.
