A relatively small art movement having to do with three-dimensional objects drawn in two-dimensional space which appear to be disobeying the laws of logic, such as the Impossible Staircase and the Impossible Triangle (both by Oscar Reutersvärd). Or the Impossible Chess Set, (originally known as Das gekrümmte Schachbrett) by Sandro Del-Prete. The first actual three-dimensional impossible object was made possible with the use of the same laser techniques used in regular laser shows.
