When TV's Homer Simpson revealed that his e-mail address was chunkylover53@aol.com in January 2002's "The Dad Who Knew Too Little" episode, thousands of fans of the show began sending e-mail to the address in an attempt to see if Homer "really" owned that account. Well, guess what? He does.

Prior to the episode's airing The Simpsons writer/producer Matt Selman registered the screen name and has been reading and responding to the e-mails as Homer himself. "He's tried to answer every one of them and then as soon as he answers a hundred, a hundred more pop in - it's like Sisyphus," producer Al Jean explained in an interview, "It's like letters to Santa Claus, he's trying to answer them as Homer and give advice."
