A
beta boy is usually a raging
nerd (a.k.a.
geek) who thinks its absolutely the
coolest thing in the
world to own every single pre-release
build of an
operating system (
OS), unreleased
video game, or something of the like, no matter how
buggy it is or how much the
code or
program sucks.
Usually, these beta boys can be found on irc typing stuff like "l33t"/"leet", "w00t"/"woot" and "I'm going to hax0r j00, b1tch!"
Strangely enough, most of these so-called beta boys happen to be either pre-pubescent little boys or 34-year olds that still live with their parents.
