The type of white or gray cloud that resembles a sharply defined, wavy patch, found at intermediate altitudes and consisting of small water droplets.
Blob-shaped clouds commonly seen early in the summer morning, late in the summer evening. Altocumulus form at between 4 and 6 kilometers above the surface of the Earth.
