These aren't particularly commonly used chemicals except for the shortest one, acetylene (which would be called ethyne if named systematically).

A chemical compound that contains one sigma bond, and two pi bonds, thus creating a triple bond between carbons. Alkynes are more acidic than alkene or alkane.
Along the triple bond, the bond angle is a planar 180 degrees.
