Wonderstruck was a CBC childrens' television show hosted by Bob McDonald, dating from January 8, 1986 to August 24, 1992 that discussed scientific issues topical to the children and youth the nation. Examples included static electricity, optics, gravity, and the use of the inclined plane. Scientific discoveries were introduced in the form of a question: Why do my knuckles pop? Why do some words look backward in a mirror?

Stoddart press published interesting science books "Wonderstruck" and "Wonderstruck II" in light of the successful show.
