A children's breakfast TV show, shown on TV-AM during the late 1980's and early 1990's. Presented by Timmy Mallett and Magic the Cockateil. The show consisted of cartoons, VT segments of Mallett visiting different countries (and telling us about their history), and of course, the main event : Mallett's Mallet. The name refers to the show's predecessor, Wide Awake Club (WAC) and it was on daily during the holidays. There were also phone-in competitions, and viewers were encouraged to send in photos of themselves performing a Wacawave. The show ended with the dissolution of TV-AM and did not have an equivalent on it's replacement, GMTV.
