Valerie Plame was the pseudonym of CIA agent under non-official cover Valerie Wilson, which was released by some members of the Bush administration to a few journalists as part of a response to an editorial by Wilson's husband wherein he criticized the administration's claims that Saddam Hussein was attempting to buy yellowcake Uranium from Niger. The ensuing cover up eventually led to the conviction of I. Lewis Libby, an aide to Vice President Dick Cheney. The Wilsons' story is the subject of the film Fair Game, where Valerie Plame will be played by Naomi Watts.
