Jocasta is a monster.
She writes poetry on a
Computer instead of on paper,
the lovely bound books they gave to her
are too good,
to ruin with cross-outs and ink blots.
She drinks a glass of inexpensive wine in one hand and smokes a clove cigarette
in another. She is barren.

Elouise is a liar.
she instigates , and framed Jocasta.
She thinks that inkblots and cross-outs
give character, where cigarette burns don't.
she doesn't punctuate...
She lives in between pages of Salinger.
She walks , with the stars

providing footlamps

and with comets sprinkled in her hair.

Perhaps one day they will meet
and have a drink.
