A theory that explains a lot of male behaviour. And actually has a far-fetched physiological basis. Anyway, it goes like this:


Men have two heads. Both require huge amounts of blood to work. However, there is not enough blood in the body to fully supply enough oxygen to both at the same time. Hence, at any given time, one of the two heads is working, but never both at the same time.
