Jetfire is initiated to the ranks of the Autobots. The reacquired Creation Matrix is used to bring life back to 5 Autobots injured in the Ark's crash landing: Grapple, Hoist, Smokescreen, Skids and Tracks.
Led by Bumblebee, 4 of them embark on a training mission.
Meanwhile, while attempting to retake the oil rig taken over by the Decepticons in issue 6, G.B. Blackrock discovers their plot to steal sonic energy from a Brick Springhorn concert. Optimus Prime dispatches the newly resurrected Autobots to investigate, leading to a battle against Shockwave and his minions in the middle of the concert.
