A hoax created by two Rolling Stone reporters in 1969. The pair wrote a fake review praising an imaginary album said to have been secretly recorded in near Hudson Bay in Canada by some of the biggest names in music at the time including Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, John Lennon, and Paul McCartney. The only problem was, people thought it was real and wanted to know if they could buy it. So, the reporters signed with Warner Brothers and recorded an album. Because everyone thought it was real, the final track is a spoken word track of a man laughing and saying stuff "I can't believe you fell for this"! Despite being a fraud and a joke on music fans everywhere it sold quite well reaching #114 on the Billboard charts.
