Completing James Morrow's Godhead Trilogy, this novel explores Western civilization's response as the realization sets in on Judeo-Christians everywhere: God is dead. So dead, that His skull orbits the Earth, serving as visible reminder to billions that "Coke Is It", and by the way, the afterlife you hoped for has been canceled.
Morrow had no comment on 'Footman, when I saw him; his involvement with it was too recent, he said, to afford any coherent observations on it.
