Splat! was also a board game that was released in 1990 by the board game experts Milton Bradley. It was quite different from other board games in that it allowed the players to actually make their own tokens or play pieces out of different colored clay. The mold made little round play pieces that had the shape of a bug in it. The board game kit also came with a plastic stamp pad that squished the clay play pieces flat and left an imprint that said "Splat!".

The rules are pretty simple to make it appealing to kids, and it also provided that the youngest player will start the game.

It used the board, dice, and cards to determine the moves and actions of the players. The objective was to get one play piece to the end of the path where a jar of cookies were. Player's pieces got splatted if an opponent drew a card that commanded them to do so.
