A small town just north of
Madrid,
Spain (one hour away).
Tourist attractions include
The Alcazar, a very nice
castle that from afar looks like a
ship on the
crest of a
wave, and an old
acqueduct.
Great
bars and
discos and a great place for
Americans to go and get
ass drunk and make a fool of themselves in front of the Spainards.
Unbelievable
icecream, espcially the
cafe and
chocolate.
In the summer
las ferrias are held. Basically a small
fair with great
rides and games. Most rides, however, not safe but pretty
damn fun. I was
black and blue after riding this one where everyone sits in a big circle with no designated seats or seat belts. The thing shakes up and down (almost vertical at times) and spins very fast and you literally get flung to the otherside and
land on the other people.
