One of the most well known of the Birthmarks the Port Wine Stain (PWS). It is a reddish to purplish discoloration of the skin that is usally found on the face. Early stains are usually flat and pink in appearance. As you grow up, the color may deepen. PWS may increase tissue mass becoming raised, nodular and grape-like in appearance leading to disfiguration of the face or limb.
