Filippo has also received acclaim for The Steampunk Trilogy, another collection of linked short stories.
Filippo is one of the original members of the Mirrorshades Group, the protypical group of early cyberpunk authors. He has alway been more of a short story writer than a novelist, but he has recently published his first full length novel Ciphers, which I have unfortunately never read.
