Ouch. Potato.
That is what the billboard read as we drove along I-27
somewhere in central Florida. It was an advertisement
for Highlands Region Medical Center. This lead to a long
discussion about why a hospital would even need to advertise.
"It must be a shitty hospital," someone torwards the back of
the van mused.
And why Ouch. Potato.?
My first thought was perhaps they were advertising a TV
in every room, thus the equivalent of a couch potato in a
hospital must be an ouch potato. But then the driver
commented on the placement of the period after each word.
"There must be a lot of potato gun accidents in this area,"
he concluded.
Miles later, we came across another billboard advertisment by
the same center. It read:
See you next fall.
