Nick Roberts is the lead developer of AdaOS the open source operating system based on the Ada programming language.

He describes him self as an old-time hacker, freelance computer consultant, and genuine nerd. He started his career back in the CP/M days (did his first programming on a Z80). Over the years he became proficient in BASIC, Fortran, COBOL, Pascal, Z80 Assembly, dBASE II/III, 8086 Assembly, Prolog, LISP, sh, C, C++, Ada, SQL, and Java. He currently lives in the United Kingdom where he often hires out as a consultant for $5000 per week.
