Melissa Mathison was
Harrison Ford's wife until they recently divorced. She has done several large movies from a production standpoint. She was the screen writer for
E.T., and worked on other such projects as the controvercial
Kundun (about the Dalai Lama),
Apocolypse Now,
Twilight Zone: the movie, and
The Indian in the Cupboard movie. She has gone under the psuedonym
Josh Rogan, in the past. As an interesting bit of
trivia,
Melissa used to
babysit for
Francis Ford Coppola's children.
She now works for world rights (especially those in
Tibet), based mainly off her experiences in making the
Kundun movie.
