McLaren

McLaren was started by Bruce McLaren, a New Zealander. Mika Hakkinen, the team's lead driver won the Drivers Championship in 1998, and the team won the Constructors Championship the same year. The team's other driver is Scotsman David Coulthard. In addition to Formula 1, McLaren produces a street car, the McLaren F1. It uses a non-turbocharged, 800 hp engine, very similar to the engines used in the team's race cars.

I think it might also be worth mentioning that the McLaren sells in the $1.5 million+ range. This is due in part to the gold lining of the engine, which, aside from looking really damn cool, does a great job of keeping the engine cool.
