InfoDock

InfoDock is a behemoth add-on by Altrasoft to the already-impressive XEmacs working environment, adding more features and UI enhancements, as well as helps for programmers such as the OO-Browser, which allows one to browse through classes in Smalltalk, Objective-C, Python, CLOS, Eiffel, Java, and C++. Also included is the Hyperbole PIM. Those of you who complain that they can't find a good, free IDE.... stop looking.

InfoDock (and its components, OO-Browser and Hyperbole) has had a chequered history. First it was GPLed (and included with XEmacs), then the author decided to restrict distribution of newer versions (he could do that, because he hadn't accepted any patches) and asked the XEmacs team to stop distributing the old version. You could still download the last "open" version, though.

And then AltraSoft became BeOpen.com, and started offering both components freely again. Head down to their website and download. And remember, you can buy support for this product!
