I received a hefty dose of human
mortality yesterday. A highschool acquaintance, Zane Beaudreux, died finally after a three day stent at the
hospital. At which time he checked in with a
headache, and within the next two hours of his being a patient his
brain stopped functioning. Apparently he had a
tumor in his head that (for lack of a better word) burst.
He was 23, just like me.
Now I realize that death comes to us all eventually, and that it's supposed to be a good thing via God, Yaweh, Allah, A Higher Power, or whatever, but he was only 23.
Death is just something that I am not yet ready to accept.
Go with God, my friend.
