Classic Japanese anime movie and tv show about an human-looking alien with a big ass robot suit, just like Gundam. The central character's name was Orion Quest and he was always on the run from other aliens looking to destroy his robotic suit and him. To get into the suit, Orion would usually jump off some cliff, yell out his name, a pilot suit would instantly appear on him, and his Grandizer mechanism would fly to pick him up. The robot battles were very cool but not as well done as the classic Gundam movies (I emphasize classic because the current stuff isn't up to snuff). Grandizer's weapon was a dual head scythe which pretty much sliced through anything.
